The Client: Leeds Beckett University have over 28,000 students and just under 3,000 members of staff making it one of the leading universities in the North of England.
The Work We Did: We were asked by the head of the Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour school to facilitate a team day for the principle and senior lecturers in the school.
The head of school wanted to use this event to take a time out to reflect on the way they worked together and use their combined knowledge and wisdom to tackle some of the challenges they faced and to improve their working relationships. The event brought together academics who were used to working as independent professionals and created an environment where they collaborated and deepened their personal relationships. This enabled the head of school to gain commitment towards improved ways of working and helped to create a much needed platform for change within the school.
